Personal Progress

I am now the personal progress leader for the young women of my ward! I am really excited! My first challenge to the girls was to create a blog and write on it at least once a week... I realized that I was a bad example since I haven't been updating my blog that often. So it starts again now! I have to update my blog regularly... and I'm hoping I can do this at least every Sunday. I've been giving the girls a topic (drawn out of an idea jar) to get their brains going, and I thought I'd better use those subjects too.

The first topic was:
If you were given a Million dollars
to do only charitable things with, what would you do?

I think I would have soooo much fun finding ways to help people! There are a lot of people that aren't destitute, but could use help... and even a little help would make an amazing difference in their lives... I would want to help those people. I would want to do lots and lots of things for them and do it all anonymously. If I saw someone driving an old car that obviously needs to be replaced, I would buy them a new one and leave it in their driveway anonymously. If I met someone that needed a repair on their home, or clothes for their kids, or food on their table... I would find a way to pay for it without them knowing.  I would love to walk into a restaurant and tell the waitress that everyones bill was on me... and then watch the simple joy that people got from such a simple gesture! I think a million dollars could go really far and make a lot of people happy!

The next topic is:

If you could give...

If I could give people a reason to smile everyday, I'd be sooooo happy! Making someone's day, makes my day better! It's simple, but so true :)
